I like to think there's something pleasingly anachronistic in the concept of a loli wearing a two-piece bikini that was designed for the express purpose of rendering breasts hidden, when in fact there are no breasts at all. It brings attention to the tenderness of age in which those specific parts are underdeveloped, and does so by making them hidden (the absence of them hidden), and having the beholder imagine its contents, which is more potent than mere perception of it.
