Some phones put the photo orientation in the metadata. When it gets posted to 4chan, the orentation metadata gets stripped, and it gets displayed sideways. It needs to be manually rotated so that it's in the correct orientation because the image is like that rather than the metadata saying it.

Yeah, I figure between 4chan stripping EXIF data and taking a page out of the twitterfags by taking a bunch of pictures and posting a new one daily/semi-weekly I'll have half my bases covered. It's the blank canvas/blurring that I have an issue with. My house is tiny and I can't dedicate a space to larping as an anime girl like some people can.

That's what I said, yes. There's plenty of kigs that have posted previews of videos at lower resolutions on twitter that I've happily scraped with youtube-dl and never bitched. The scant few videos/photo sets that got crossposted to yiff (before it died, rip) really validated that decision. The kigs got money from simps for more content, and I continued saving shit without feeling like I was missing out on anything. It's not like there's not more smut posted to twitter than I could possibly keep track of without software to help, but the more aggressively that "simp or die" gets pushed, the more I get turned off and start looking for alternatives. Come to think of it, maybe that's the result they wanted. I don't know.
Also, I was under the impression that people paid the exorbitant costs because they enjoyed the results, not necessarily because they were looking for a monetary return on their investments. That's probably naivety.

I've been in this thread for about the same timeframe and I've always promised myself that once I had the funds for a mask and hada I'd pull the trigger and do it. All these years later I'm finally sitting on a nice enough cash stack to get in the ground floor, but since quarantine hit I've ballooned in weight even more than I already was. Turns out "park in the furthest spot from your destination and walk your fat ass there" was a legitimate strategy when I was walking across campus for school, who knew? If nobody likes looking at a fat kig, nobody's going to want to be a fat kig, and I wouldn't be comfortable buying anything fitted and sized without losing at least seventy pounds.

Its all so tiresome...
