I was just thinking about this a bit ago while taking a shower. I never did make that Cowhou VN because Dan Kim never made the art he said he was going to make for it, but then again maybe he never planned to make the art in the first place and was fucking with me. I'd post one of the old Cowhou images but they're not on this computer.

I woke up, my parents called me down to eat because my dad made bbq, then I went up to my room to play some pvp mmos.

And I'm still here doing that.

Here's the truth. There's a right way to practice and a wrong way to practice. You don't "draw until the good comes out", you learn how to not draw the bad in the first place. And there are tutorials for this all over the web. And they're mostly ignored because of how boring they are.

Good examples of progress stagnation is right here with magister and other drawfriends like ke4 and miyazaki. I can only blame it on the constant anime stylization. Anime is a dead end for artistic progress. It's a black hole. If you wanted to practice, you just gotta stop drawing anime. It's very hard to stop because anime is SO EASY to draw.

Anyway, one more thing you'll never want to hear: the less fun it is, the better it is for you. This is why I gave up drawing. I just want to take it easy. No hard things for me, I give up too easily.
