Many popular licensed character DDs cost way more than $1000. Most Fate/Stay Night and Touhou characters, as well as Tamaki from To Heart 2 cost double that, easily.

But, yes, I enjoy my Dollfie. If only I was less wishy-washy on picking out new clothes for her.
