For the same reason a Japanese message board about Western Muscle Cars would be just as fail. No matter how much they want it, a japanese next to a muscle car with a a japanese plate would just look weird. The whole concept is weird. Weaboo's talking about something inherently embedded in Japanes society (animu/mango) is no different of a scenario.
