Isn't this the norm, outside of a few exceptions? Nitori's stats aren't anything special and chasers are a great way to make up for it. Of course this is moot if your party doesn't have a bunch of elemental attackers.

Also out of curiosity how much POW do your characters have? I'm sitting at 66 right now with my characters ranging from lvl55-58. I imagine I'd have more if I had ever remembered to grind to the next POW level before boss fights.
