Living in a country that markets itself as the home of Santa is enough for me. Christmas here is pretty much equal to oomisoka over there; aside from presents, it's just families gathering together, visiting relatives and watching the same reruns on TV every fucking year.
I'll stay at my parents for few days as usual, but that's about it.

Also, hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää.

Education is free in Finland (the only mandatory expense for me was the membership fee for the university's student union, which was about 100€ for one academic year) and if you live alone you get a student welfare of 479€ / month, so there isn't really any need for parents to pay anything.
