They're rather niche games I guess. One ecchi, one hentai. Dimension of Monster Girls main claim to fame is a very appealing kraken.

Dimension of Monster Girls, a fairly short visual novel available on Steam.

It doesn't really go beyond ecchi, but has one of my favorite kraken designs and you do get to select a monster bride (though the variety is small).

Personally, I couldn't bring myself to marry anyone but the kraken. She's probably the hottest, plus the state of her endangered species is so sad.

Well I wouldn't call it futile, just something that you shouldn't expect to get a lot of acceptance or endorsement without a lot of work and good art.

If you want a nice, fairly new setting then you could check out the Dimension of Monster Girls game on Steam. It can't compare with MGE in lore or girl variety, but it has a lot of the same appeal (as far as monogamy, comfy nature and so on) and less of the controversial aspects.

And a super charming kraken.
