Yeah, I realized that while writing but decided to leave it in as a guess to be proved/disproved. Actually I should have probably just googled it beforehand. I was annoyed when writing that post so I made it sound accusatory on purpose. Sorry.

Well, do they? May a pedo here confirm? A short google search doesn't give me anything. I expressed doubt because an sexual attraction to something is closely related to wanting to fuck it, and fucking kids isn't good for them so it would contradict with the parental instinct.

You probably thought I was talking about the concept, but I was talking about the label as seen in-context. 'Pedophile' is a negative label, obviously.

I can't really respond to this because I don't know what your definition of pedo is. I'm assuming it's 'a person attracted to kids'? That'd be mine. It's not like I can prove it to you, but I've never felt sexual attraction towards a kid - or any 3D person, for that matter. Am I still considered a pedo for liking just loli by that definition? You also seem to imply that lolis and kids are the same - I'd say there are types of loli that emulate kids very closely and those that don't. The type of loli I find attractive for example is the one with a slim and fit body with visible hips like in pic related. As far as I know kids don't look I like that, they're pudgy and have no curves. Combine the bodytype in the pic with being 1000 yrs old and having a fairly mature personality, and you've got a loli with barely any resemblance to a kid. I don't think the sort of person that is into that is a pedo.

It's already affecting me, isn't it? With loli getting banned in more and more places. I think that if people realized loli is a wide label for characters and refers to more than just 'anime kid' the resistance would be much lighter but I don't really expect normalfags to understand. It's true that if they accepted pedophilia they would definitely accept loli, but I never thought whether the pros make up for the cons in that scenario. It would definitely make it easier for molesters to do their molesting, but perhaps there's ways to combat that. I guess I'll finally have to think about it.
