Question regarding writefagging. what perspective do you prefer to have the narration come from? First person, using 'I', third person, or from the reader's perspective using 'you'?

For a while I had a format that used the reader's perspective to allow self insertion, but it makes it hard to write interesting characters and using 'I' feels more natural. Thoughts?
