idk, that doesn't feel legit to me. Also, in umineko, even though he can conjure redeeming stories for the characters using the catbox, there is still a way to interpret the "real story" and derive meanings from those interpretations. This is straight up cheat mode as you said. At the same time maybe I shouldn't judge this work like I do umineko or any other and view it simply as it's own thing. The fact that there's a character named Mariye that goes uuUUuuU (in my translation at least) doesn't help though.
