Okina states her *intention* to close Cirno's door for her own safety at the start of Stage 6, but evidently put that on hold when she decided to have a match against Cirno anyway, as well as the subsequent rematch. She also remarks on how Cirno is the first fairy she's ever seen master the back door to such an extent.
Cirno's power could be considered her own, as it's her own latent potential, but she's not normally able to access on her own, which is where Okina's ability comes in.

It's hard to say how fair the match really was, though. Okina intended to stack things a little in her opponents' favor, by letting them use their full potential and a bonus from the doyou they gathered, while she only used her native power and nothing external alongside it. But Cirno was a weird outlier amongst the protagonists where her newly unleashed power caused her body to break down, so she probably couldn't use all of it to its fullest extent. Plus, the doyou was at least ostensibly supposed to be antithetical to a fairy's nature, so Cirno might not have been able to use that properly either.
But on the other hand, we still know little about the nature of Cirno's true power, and since Aunn comments on how she feels that Cirno's unusual power has some weird darkness behind it, she might've been compatible with it after all, in spite of being a fairy.
