Rani was underused a lot in Extra, before the choice you've mostly interacted with Rin who's helped you a bunch of times while Rani only helps you once (against NR I think?). Even in the anime Rin is a companion through the whole thing while Rani shows up in a single floor and then Hakuno chooses Rin over her.

Hope the remake gives her more screentime even if I'll probably pick Rin anyway.
