Toma's route and its consequences have been a disaster for yandere.
Cage focus is a pretty boring concept for a whole route almost by design, specially when paired with the implausible plot armour they're always imbued with and the boring passive heroines that really help make it an absolute nothingride.
I shill him every opportunity I get, but my favorite yandere does have a cage-kun-esque ending. He may not be popular, but that revolting manchild is number one in my heart.
