Guys, I'm sick of people affectionately referring to the /jp/ collective as "Tou-Bro"s when they want something. Even if you don't mean any harm, it's a stupid fucking word and it sounds like some shit-tier /b/ meme excrement.

I don't know where or how this started, but I am not your "Tou-Bro". I browse /jp/ and play/appreciate Touhou, but if you're looking to establish a bond with your fellow /jp/, spouting off some buzzword pet-name is probably not the best way to do it. I think I speak for the majority of /jp/ when I say this shit needs to stop, and now.

I want the "Tou-Bro"s to leave. On some level we might be bros, and we might discuss Touhou, but I will NEVER be anybody's "Tou-Bro". Get that through your head.

What is is to be jealous? What it is not is mere ENVY of something another has. Jealousy is much more powerful, the retention of already possessed qualities in the face of threats.

It is one of the most primal urges there is- A child can display jealously before six months old, before it is able to recognize its own name or even sit itself upright. A protective emotion, the acknowledgement that some advantage, something or someone could potentially be lost to another. Parsee's previous job was to act as a bridge guardian, so it is not surprising that she takes it to the next level.

What drive must consume her! To keep constant forward momentum lest you be just another one of the also-ran. Even the word Jealousy itself comes from the word 'Zealous'. Who knows the sheer amount of philosophy, culture and knowledge she has absorbed over the years in the scramble not to be left behind or out of the loop. There is no doubt that she would gladly express such wisdom, if only to test herself in relation to others. And Parsee's abilities let others come around to the same enlightenment, if only for a little while.

No wonder Akyuu speaks so bitterly of Parsee. Who could be more jealous of jealousy incarnate than someone on death's doorstep!
