Your points on RAID are noted, I guess it won't be necessary then if I already plan to have some cold storage 4TB drives acting as my backups.

Also I feel like I've seen conflicting points about SSDs such as their benefits (speed?) not really being necessary for being a JAV curator and something about their operation means they might not last as long? Not 100% sure and I'm still learning, probably getting some terminology wrong too

it's a missed opportunity for sure... how evil would you be wanting her to go though? on the extreme end of the scale is full abusive femdom SM punishment which isn't my thing but I think there's a lot of opportunity for creativity along that spectrum
