Oops, forgot to update you on this. the creator sent a quickfix for anyone that still wanted to use DeepL until he updates Sugoi:
check pic related, change the true value to false in your user settings folder, and you should be fine.
JUst hide the chromium browser behind the game. it'll have to be open in order to run DeepL
