Call me a retard if you want, but I'm honest here.
For years I rolled my eyes at retarded Sakurafags on /a/ with their constant "canon route" shitposting, but... the more I read about FSN from Nasu and the more I think about it, the more I feel like they're right.
Not to say I'm turning into a retarded waifufag like them, but I do feel somewhat betrayed, as pathetic as it might sound.

I liked FSN. It was my favorite visual novel and Type Moon work, all because I was under the impression that the different routes actually matter.
But that's bullshit. Nasu has an obvious preference and it shows.

Sakura is the one who got a spin-off game with CCC because Nasu wasn't satisfied with the reception she had in FSN.
Heaven's Feel is the route that has a different OP in the PS Vita release while Fate and UBW are almost identical.
Heaven's Feel is the route where Nasu says Shirou becomes "human", "grows as a person" and "spreads his wings".
Sakura is the relationship that Nasu describes as "Ai" aka pure love, while Saber and Rin are "koi", as childish infatuation.
Nasu also says he wrote FSN wishing readers would wish to get to know Saber and Rin, but cuddle with Sakura.
Nasu didn't want to write Last Episode. He also didn't bother insisting on a Fate Route anime adaptation just because Miura and Sudou prefer UBW and HF.
He didn't like any adaptation of his works (KnK included) as much as Heaven's Feel.
