Being retarded. They decided to animate some random part in the later manga after the first manga was cancelled and later continued. For some reason, they thought they could get away with just briefing you on shit that happened up to that point. Also why they made the dolls tiny, I don't know, but it was cute.

Reminds me of Gen'ei o Kakeru Taiyou that aired that season too. It could have been a good anime, but the producers wanted to cram like 52 episodes worth of plot into 14 episodes while still wasting a couple on fanservice instead of just shooting for a sequel.

That year, people had been making fun of aku no hana too. Maybe 2013 was a bad year for anime production.

It was good, ignoring they just chose to animate a portion of the comic. Hinafags were mad that Hina was dead the whole time, and there were the whiners about them being serious and not fucking around as much. I'd guess everyone's resigned to reading the manga or waiting 7 more years if they want more.

Suigintou was ultra cute. Shinku was still a shit. Jun was awesome. Kanaria was awesome. Sui and Sou didn't show up much, but they had their moments.
