i had a nightmare a while back in which my mother stabbed me to death in her SUV in front of my grandmother's house while wearing a comically exaggerated scowl.
...this unfortunately perfectly coincided with a really heated argument my mother and i would have a day later, where she still wore the same comically exaggerated scowl and stood in front of me, hands on hips in an almost childish fashion, to really let me know that she meant business, i guess. naturally, i'm still a bit shaken up over it. i can still hear her screaming at me for no particular reason even though she's currently not here, although now i'm more angry than i am anxious or scared.
