The reason for the disparity in views towards humans is because since fairies superficially copy human culture most of them don’t view humans as more than entertainment and bellow them. Fairies that DO bother to learn more about human reasoning tend to get addicted and change that opinion fast, in a matter of days. They also consider this much more fun as even the idea of making beds soft was alien to them.
The reason humans are still valued even by fairies that consider them beneath them is because the corrupted Mors can’t corrupt humans. So in spite of the difference in power from man to fairy, a human is still the safest soldier to send to fight a Mors. Humans blessed by fae have heightened combat capacity as well.
The Human Ranch tries to replicate a normal city as much as possible because fairies want to keep their natural culture and creativity as intact as possible due to the value they carry. Eventually humans from the ranch may be bought by high noble fairies. In case a human is mistreated and discarded by a bad fairy, Lady Aurora has been using her connections to track down and hire them to Salisbury. Lady Aurora’s ideals of coexistence is becoming more common lately as well.
Fairies that fall in love with humans isn’t uncommon. Though since all fairies are yandere they may need to be suppressed if they start rampaging. Which seems to be common.
