Holy shit, I can't believe how fast time passes.
I started learning Japanese when this thread was at around 500-600.

I have to say, even though I don't watch anime and shit anymore, I do owe a lot to this thread. I was able to get into a really hard scholarship program to do my degree in Japan. Currently studying computer science in a renowned university here. If it wasn't for you bunch of autists I probably wouldn't have had the dedication or motivation to come this far.

Now, studying my degree in Japanese (had one year of studying japanese 8+ hours per day in order to get my japanese to a university student's level), living and working with japanese people. I can say I'm quite advanced on the japanese scale. Even though I'm still shit, I'm close to fluency acording to every single person I talk or text to here.

Would you faggots be interested in me giving advice on what actually works and what is a waste of time on learning japanese? I pretty much tried EVERY SINGLE method of learning and by trial and error adapted and got "my own" style of learning. Also can speak 5 other languages so any questions are welcome.

knowing you guys I'll get called a faggot and be asked to fuck off though.
