Just finished reading Masuribayashi a couple of days ago so which chapters apart from the main 8 are also worth checking into?

Because his fans are obnoxious as fuck. Recently, a Yohane fanbook was translated, but a guy mistook him for Zounose, and started commenting about how he expected Remilia to start chewing on Sakuya's throat or something creepy like that. IMMEDIATELY, a Zounose fanboy arrived, and started saying that Yohane was nothing but an amateur, while Zounose was a all mighty powerful aAa artist who already finished WoW twice while beating Chuck Norris with just his left hand and publishing pro-like mangas.

It also doesn't help that, as I said earlier, criticizing Zounose's obsession for dark stuff will always lead to a counter-criticism based on "but ZUN said youkai ate people therefore Zounose is right".

The thing that bothers me with Zounose is that his usual pictures (the one he posts on Pixiv) are normal, and almost cute (because he has a really peculiar style, I give him that).
His books, however, are totally different. It was like reading a tentacle-rape book by Giselebon.

But I must admit, at least Zounose avoids senseless violence à la Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventures, he works on his plot a lot. It would be dishonest to not admit that : he does have a plot when he writes. Or draws.
But his Gensokyo is still a shithole where it's better to be a beast than a human, and that's the part that bothers me, as I vaguely remember some Anon quoting the Symposium and saying that humans in Gensokyo are powerful enough to not be stepped on by every youkai passing by.

I unfortunately can't find the source, but I'm sure it was explained somewhere that only suicidal outsiders and people who arrive by accident in Gensokyo are devoured. Certainly not the natives.
