It's an ancient piece of gaming history, that dude is essentially Carmack of text era games. He made the first engine, and then it went on and on. Fascinating.

That's one of the very first progenitors of modern era games, it improved on RR's formula after fully porting the codebase on emuera, moving away from eramaker. A lot of the code you see in eraTW for actions (including some descriptions and the deflowering code until 2016) likely originated in tohoA, with all of its bugs and shortcomings.
