they are getting better, but they still have problems with rips and tears on the softer material like the entries or thin material with a lot of articulation like fingers and toes.

Or if the skin doesn't fail, most designs with posable hands use metal wire hat eventually fatigues, snaps and pokes through the skin.

There are some solutions like real jointed fingers or putting something akin to a kneecap on the knuckles to prevent a break along the most common failure points for the wire... but it's not all on the same doll.

They still haven't fixed the entry tearing though. You either buy replaceable inserts or have to make sure you're careful with a permanent version.

I do see some progress though. Self-heating is becoming a common feature on higher end dolls.

Still, it's a long way from robot sex slaves.
