I don't get why people get on "Alice"'s case so much for being cheerful and lovey on 4chan. Sure it's probably some fat gay neckbeard with his twang hanging out behind the cute pics and st-st-stuttering text, but isn't it at least something positive?

For all the hatred that poisons this place, what's so bad about a little goodness or niceness? Even if a lie?

Maybe those haters are the kind of people who would find an abandoned lot filled with rusted scraps of broken metal, see a beautiful daffodil struggling to live on the merest bit of dirt in the middle of that nightmarish Hellscape, illuminated in a single delicate ray of sunshine...

and go over and stomp it, rip it out of the ground, and gnash it to pieces with their teeth.

Oh, Alice. Why your urge to make dolls, your endless quest for a SENTIENT doll? Why not just have a child? Why is it, being of the gender that can give birth to new life, you seek to discharge your creative energies in this fashion?

I'm a writer. I understand the drive, the need, to create something. I understand the various things that CAN drive somebody to this. But I don't understand you, Alice.

I can't ignore that you're crazy, nay, completely fucked in the head. In fact, it takes precedence in any thoughts of you. And even though I stand ready to beat the shit out of you should you unexpectedly attack... I don't fear you. In fact, in my weak moments, I want to... nevermind.
