/jp/ - Otaku Culture

I come to you today /jp/ with a rather backwards request.

I want to leave the Touhou fandom. For all intents and purposes, the Touhou fandom is at this moment the very equivalent of the Naruto fandom at the heights (depths?) of its unbelievable idiocy. Fans are alternatively elitists, roleplayers, lol randum xD, giddy memespamming idiots, or some or all of the above.
The fandom has basically fleshed out the fan view of the characters, and like the fandom, they are entirely one-dimensional. Sakuya is paddo janai xD, Alice is SOO TSUNDERE, Ran is a pedophile, Yuyuko is a glutton, and so on. It has gotten to the point where I can't even look my wife in the eyes any more without seeing this... taint.

It's even following me into my other interests. Just the other day I came across a TF2 server where half (in a 24 player server) were playing "house" with each other, roleplaying as various touhou characters.

My question, finally, is this: Where else can a soul-less dreg like myself find his kicks and waste his time? VNs? Other shmups? I look to you for guidance, /jp/.
