If they don't subscribe to it then they're going to be crushed by the cultures that do, probably the Chinese. A corporation filled with hugs, teddy bears, good vibes, and love is no where near as powerful as a corporation composed entirely of blood thirsty Chinese people that take speed and pull 18 hour work days.

As Africa is now learning, the Chinese are not nice and they don't even pretend to have any semblance of compassion. There is no white guilt here, just the crack of the whip from the Chinese overlord. The rest of us will probably learn this as well, and all of these weak and feminine European companies will be gutted and slaughtered by the merciless and terrifyingly powerful Chinese.

History is cyclic and there's nothing new under the sun. Strong kingdoms, nations, and empires have turned weak, peaceful, and decadent in the past, and their throats were slit by violent foreign powers as they cheerfully marched towards their progressive utopian futures that they thought they were about to achieve. Europe is running towards the same utopian near-death hallucination that every other every great power was also running towards right before they collapsed in on themselves and were crushed by superior foreigners who hadn't grown weak and decadent.
