Only thing from the mid 2000s I miss is my motivation. When music and nice pictures were more difficult to find, I sometimes used to spend HOURS tracking down like one mp3.

'cause if a Japanese band is trying to sell music abroad it means they're trying to break into the foreign market. So, you buying their music would actually help very much. No sales = no breakthrough = unhappy record label = unhappy band.

This is why a lot of Japanese bands don't bother trying to become big abroad. Costs a lot to try and if no one buys their stuff that's a lot of money wasted.
