Not that fag, but you do realize the politicization started long before these last few decades with the suppression of gays and troons in society, right? The whole lgbt thing we're seeing is backlash from decades, if not centuries of suppression. As someone who's not gay or trans, I see it as a demographic now being free to express themselves like they never have been able to before this point in history. I do think they go overboard sometimes, but it'll die down soon enough. The conservatives and the alt-right crowd in my opinion are the more annoying aspect of this phenomenon because they are the ones shoving this shit in my face when I would have never really paid attention to it in the first place.

There are some gay producers and there is a lot of yuri art of Miku and the other girls since the beginning of Vocaloid. I'll admit the only gay producer I know off the top of my head is Oster Project, who has been around since the beginning of Vocaloid and I'm sure there are more. Also, Miku and the other girls are meant to be a blank slate to imprint any personality they want on her, so that means if a girl wants Miku to be her waifu and a lesbian, she has that option, the same way you and me can have her be straight in our minds.
Frankly, the fact some idiots opened up Vocaloid as a new front on the culture war is idiotic when you look at it. Japanese culture, anime and Vocaloid shouldn't be gate-kept by a few salty social retards who are mad that the world is changing in a way they don't agree with, especially Japanese culture has tolerated gays and lesbian historically.
