I personally find mod catalogs, ultimately, unnecessary. I've had 3DCG since its release, for almost three years now, and I've found it much more productive to just sort through the mods myself using two of my own methods.

Once you realize that many of the mods come with sample pictures, and use certain naming schemes, it becomes very easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Recognizing a few Japanese keywords also helps a lot as well, which anyone can do even if you can't read it.

What I usually do is just mass extract a ton of mods to one location, then use windows search to do one of two things:
-Search for pictures only
-Search for certain keywords

Then after searching, if I see a picture of a mod that I like the looks of, or filename tag I'm looking for, I just right click it, and jump to its folders location. Using these methods I've been able to categorize and archive this large of a hierarchy of mods that I personally like.

You know the saying how a picture always speaks a thousand words? That is especially true in this case. There are many mods that I never would have thought to track down or even knew I would have enjoyed if I didn't see the sample pictures for myself.
