I had the .exe corrupted the first time I download it as well.

I downloaded again from different source (http://downmirror3.tsundere.ne.jp:8001/download/eukleia/472722790c865849f40e79f71ce77665/ladea_trial.zip)) and it worked fine. It was relatively fast as well (400 to 900 kB/s).

As for the game itself, I have to say I'm really liking the look of the new battle sprites. Huge improvement over the previuos chibi sprites
