Speaking of liarsoft, LoR does feel a bit similar to their stuff. The City is technically a steampunk setting and the way PM does info-dumping kinda reminds me of Sakurai's writing in FGO.

I was surpised that Roland and Angela didn't ended up together. Was half-expecting a confession scene after he pulled her out from the Pillar of Light but them staying as friends is also fine I guess. I enjoy Roland being miserable over Angelica and also because I prefer AAn. Good Father/Daughter that isn't another brand of Usagi Drop dynamic are rare. I don't care that they're nbr, Ayin being that specific kind of bastard semi-absent father is enough for me.
