Imagine after a battle between undead and humans. The lady knights that the undead captured are being lead to a chopping block with a Dullahan next to it carrying her head in one arm and a poleaxe in the other. All of the lady knights are stoically accepting their executions. As the first one is forced to kneel on the block, the axe comes down on her neck, severing it in a single blow. Yet to their surprise, this first woman executed isn't dead, in fact the rest of her body is still moving, instinctively grabing her severed head to put back on after the body is released.
