Vodka is essentially a universal mixture due to the fact that it really does not have a taste of its own past vaguely tasting like ethanol, briny, or malty water. Some of the most popular mixes with it are Bloody Mary ( Vodka and Tomato Juice, or Clamato for a Caesar if you're a rampaging faggot with celery for garnish ), Moscow Mule ( Lime juice, Ginger beer, and Vodka with lime garnish ), and a Screwdriver, which is literally just Vodka and Orange Juice. Some other things I've seen mixed with it are anise, wormwood, dry vermouth, bitters, club soda and a variety of fruits that usually err on the side of higher acidity like grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, etc.

Generally speaking in my experience, the lighter spirits like Vodka, shit tier whiskey like Wild Turkey and Jack Daniels, Gin, some Rums, and Tequila all make fine mixing spirits. But please, for the love of fucking God, don't ever drink Fireball Whiskey, it's essentially just alchol infused cinnamon syrup and not even a real fucking whiskey.
