It depends on who you're playing for. The level of the NPCs determines how likely they are to be pleased with your performance depending on your skill level. There can possibly be more NPCs in a particular $ quest of a lower level each, or fewer of a high level. The latter would be harder to please, and thus you'll get fewer points. Or more points, if you succeeded in getting all of them. But forget all this and just ensemble your way through, I got only 88 performer but do up to $ x 18 party time quests with my band of party animals. It might be more efficient to just use a grand piano at very high performer levels though. You can also preach to please the partygoers with good morals or fascination dance to give them erections instead.
