MC's childhood friend and neighbor. Part of school's cheerleading club. Cheerful, has lots of friends and is quite popular among the students.
She used to be really close with MC when they were kids, but grew apart as they got older.
This changes when monsters start targeting her, prompting MC to stay by her side to protect her from such threats. As a way to return the favor, Nanaka offers to visit MC's home every now and then to tidy up his room or fix him up some meal.
Has had feelings for MC since a long time, but is somewhat insecure and indecisive, preventing her from acting on it. She's still serious about getting closer to MC, and views the other girls as rivals.
Somewhat bad at grades (especially science), but her caring nature coupled with her home skills give her the qualities of an excellent homemaker.

Finally tries to confess her love in the finale, but decides to hold that off for after MC comes back from the big battle, while she promises to work on her timidity in the meantime.
