Hello I will be hosting Gmod for a little bit tomorrow at around 6pm PST, here is everything you need to know, please read carefully!

above is all the game modes, that will (probably) get hosted, check it out to spoil yourself

>texture downloads?
you will need to buy, install and mount Counter strike :Source (game content), Half life 2 and both of it's episodes and Team fortress 2 (just for the 2hu maps)
ooooorrrrrr you can get them for free here https://gmodcontent.com/ , just follow the instructions. you can also choose to download the textures and content at the workshop it's self, your call
if you are really hurting for SSD space than really Source is like 70 percent of map count

the server will be using CaveeJohnson Wardrobe plugin, this is how it works:
1) connect to server
2) type "!wardrobe" in chat
3) this will open the wardrobe menu, click the "Download" button and the open workshop button, this should open up the workshop for garry's mod, simply find a model you like (so just type touhou in the search bar), click it and "Select addon" at the bottom of the window that just opened
4) close the window and select the model from the "select button" and "request (model name)", this will also download the model for everyone on the server.

i stole the jukebox plugin! to use this you will need to launch Gmod from the Beta x86-64 Chromium branch, it will play songs from youtube and it is really easy to do
1) go to your gmod settings on steam
2) select "properties..."
3) go down to "betas"
4) from the "beta participations" button, select "Beta x86-64 Chromium +64 binaries"
5) let it download and hit play, you will be prompted launch gmod x64, select that and play
6) connect to the server, and type "!jb" in chat to queue music, request songs to be added and increase the volume (it might be very low once you join for the first time)
6.5) if you still don't hear anything, go back to beta participations, select a different branch, let that download and reselect and download chromium branch
if you want to add a song to the queue that is not there already, you need to manually do it (the auto button does not work), hit the manual select button, paste the jewtube link, name it and say who made it, and select the time where it ends, shout at me in chat to accept the song request. I've already added around 100 or so songs, other than the ZUN songs i threw in some vocals, Demetori and a few shitposts.

i'll throw the IP up tomorrow at 6pm pst, I will also post the steam workshop collection tomorrow (all together i think it is 5 gbs) a few hours before the server goes up, you don't need to download it as the server will download everything for you but you might run into some missing textures if you don't. thx for reading my blog
