Ignoring her question, you look outside. No one is around, which is usually the case in this alley. This is the actually the first time you've ever seen anyone else in this alley since you started using it as a shortcut to walk to work. The two of you quickly cover the distance to the corner of another side alley which leads to a less shady road. Figuring you're probably out of immediate danger, you realize there's another problem with this situation. This girl has wings and is in her underwear.
"Hold on," you say, stopping and taking off your jacket.
"Okay!" Okuu still has a broad smile on her face, apparently unaware that she was ever in danger. She must be excited because she has no idea what's going on. You kneel down in front of her and go to wrap your jacket around her waist.
