/monster/'s really slow, and is pretty much what you'd expect would happen when you take a topic like this which is only really worthy of a single thread, and split it into an entire board of 375 threads.
And I mean that literally. Go there and count if you like. There are actually 375 threads up on /monster/ right now.

Besides that, it's not the worst place to go if you want to grab some images which don't circulate around this thread's way. They're much more chill about certain things, willing to post pictures and discussion of monstergirls which would be shitposted here within minutes.
But like >>15747444 says, it's riddled with really, really shit memes, and it's slow as fuck because the userbase is stretched so thin.
Go there to grab images, maybe post if you see a thread you REALLY like, but otherwise, it's just kind of there, doing its own thing.
There's also other problems I have with /monster/, but I think it's more down to the fact that they're on Eightchan, and the nature of that site, than anything else.

Other than that, I don't mind them. Browsing them every once in a while, you find some pretty neat stuff.
Like for example, http://theocrata.deviantart.com/ this guy is drawing a Gazer image, which is pretty cool.

Oh, and their mascot design is terrible. That orange abomination with the crooked teeth and the colour pallete that looks like vomit. And I'm saying this as someone who likes monster-heavy designs, like the MGE Tentacle, or a fair amount of MGQ stuff.
Then again, I'm pretty sure a lot of people on /monster/ dislike her too. Which is good.

Also, fucking look at this harpy. Big boobs, muscly, featherpubes. This is a perfect harpy.
