Even if a miracle happens and the remake gets released, I doubt it would be as good as the original. Nasu barely gives a shit about his universe anymore and as a result his writing deteriorated. Fate/EXTRA sequels like Extella and Extella Link are now written by someone else other than Nasu. Fate/Strange Fake is not supervised by Nasu at all, he doesn't even care about it. It's funny how this guy changed so much in 10 years, back then he supervised Zero and tried to make it match to Fate lore, but now he doesn't give a shit about anything and his excuse is "multiple timelines lol just don't think about it". Just look at Last Encore for example, even if Shaft is hugely at fault for the awful product we got, Nasu also takes some blame since the entire script was written by him, and Last Encore's biggest problems were the story and pacing. It's time to let go of the remake and accept the fact that a previously good writer has lost his touch.
