>What was the first thing you actually read?
Flyable Heart.

>when did you actually start to read?
My journey to actually getting started reading was a long and shameful one. I first discovered DJT around 2012, I think, but I went straight from there to Namasensei's videos, and when I got to the end of them I had no idea what to do next so I just kind of gave up. My memory of what happened next is pretty fuzzy, but several years passed where I just kept starting phases of ''''''''learning'''''''' Japanese which lasted several weeks to a month each, before I would quit and take several months off only to repeat the cycle all over again.

In the beginning, I would read Tae Kim, or Genki, or do some other beginner thing like RTK or Core, and either find it too tedious to finish (RTK, Core), or get to the end of it then not really know where to go from there (Tae Kim, Genki) and quit. At some point I learned that I needed to read in order to learn Japanese, but when I tried reading I was predictably hopeless at it, and I took this to mean that I needed to do more grammar study. This led to me trying stuff like the DoJG Anki deck, but it was so dull that each time I tried it I could never make it more than a week in before I gave up.

By this point I had basically lost all hope in ever learning Japanese and felt extremely hopeless about the whole endeavour, but I discovered the AJATT site somehow or other and ended up reading through it figuring I had nothing to lose. The motivational stuff about it being okay to suck, etc., coupled with the message of learning by having fun turned out to be just what I needed to hear, and that got me to a long last just dive into reading without caring that I was really shit at it and couldn't understand anything. I didn't pick up any of the other AJATT stuff like sentence mining and so on though since I was more focused on just getting myself reading and told myself I'd worry about all that stuff later. It's about a year later now and I'm still going (though because I haven't used Anki all this time my vocabulary is terrible).

Alright faggots, I need your guys help. I'm looking for this old eroguro manga I read so long ago called Never Ending Summer Vacation. I've looked everywhere for it and even searched the Japanese title, to no avail. Can any of you guys help me find it again?
