So much suffering.
Kurokage, Malika, Sigurd, and Duke all died.
Baron became the final boss and died.
Gaim sacrificed his humanity and became a god, then fucked off to the other end of the galaxy with all of the forest and monsters to save humanity.
Mai died and became the mysterious woman from the early episodes.
Turns out she tried to warn everyone to prevent all the bad shit, but she could only talk cryptic for some reason and the future refused to change. She fucks off with Gaim to the other end of the galaxy at the end.
Knuckle, Bravo, Zangetsu, and Gridon all survive, but lose their belts forever. Gridon becomes a fucking man and finally learns that Kurokage is dead.
Ryugen survives, but the guilt of what he did weighs on him heavily and he refuses to hang out with any of his old friends because he feels like he doesn't deserve it.
He gets better during the post-season episode though.
