Japanese Emperor visits Japanese-Brazilian National Community. I guess I am just realizing how hypocritical Japanese foreign policy is. Exporting tons of Japanese, encourage them to marry within the Japanese community, set up Japanese linguistics schools across other nations, and then have thousands invested in Japanese cultural centers to "To spread and educate Japanese culture and ideology." while at the same time having text book courses on Japan its self. All this when they refuse to allow more froigners in etc., which isn't a bad thing.

One it's like they are dominating the world by these things, but a small yet rising number of gaijin invade their homeland all due to these so called cultural advancements placed within Gaijin societies.

Which is it put in place for? To conquer through their aesthetics or was it said to be a good will act by the Western Powers all the while knowing that these tools the Japanese unknowingly went with was to set up the fall of the monoculture of Japan with the generations of gaijin flocking there due to the "Cultural advancement centers" (thus killing the essence of Japan)?

I had no idea you were Brazilian
Did you hear or watch the news when the Emperor came to Brazil?

If the Emperor came to America I would go to see him no matter what.

I bet you could bag a Japanese emergent or a descendent of one. Pure ones are still around I hear.

I am sure he is fine. A rich Brazilian girl I knew was really worried about her family when the riots were going on though. That day she was allowed to call her Mom's Cell phone. She hadn't heard from her family since the riots had started either. She got a hold of her mom and family during class; she balled her eyes out. Her family was fine, but they were in a fortified police station waiting out the end of the riots.

Oh okay.
I will be in Brazil to study abroad soon. Maybe you will see me on the T.V when I go to a World Soccer Tournament match.
I look forward to Brazil

Many Japanese left Japan, after Japan's defeat in WW2.This was the most critical point in the rebuilding of Japan. The deserters were seen as traitors, cowerds, and even their acts were considered treason by the people. Many of the Japanese deserters moved to Taiwan,Brazil,Perru, and various South American countries. The descendants of the deserters have been trying to move back to the homeland of Japan,In very recent years,on the account that they know the true pride of Japan and long for it.The dedescendants are not well received by the Native Japanese though;istead they find themselves ridiculed for their ancestors' shamefur displays. Not even pure blooded Japanese decendants, who wish for nothing more than to be in their ture homland, are not welcome. So harsh.I who have strived to understand Japan am most complexed by the story of them not wanting their own people back.Isolationism didn't work out for them last time,so why keep doing it to their own people?Yea,yea preserve culture, but too much and it'll destroy Em

My respect for all of /jp/ has increased x 2 fold

I know Emporer Akihito had visited Brazil a few years ago, but I also thought that he had met with the Brazilian Emporer, who also is a symbol of the state. I can't seem to find any images.

Am I crazy or doesn't Brazil still have a Royal Family?
