Obviously never throw away cards that were farmed from VS battles, story missions, events or were banner exclusive. Never thow away cards that they hand out for free, like anniversary cards or special cards like from that old fan artist event. Keep every card that has a party wide buff effect, those can be used to extend buffs from characters or just support in general. Keep cards that increase crit damage or decrease enemy crit defense, like that one Hecatia card or the underground party card. Keep cards that have stuff like +3 levels of yang/ying attack or accuracy. Keep stat sticks that have super high attack, like 100+.

That should cover just about everything that is worth keeping. A lot of the earlier cards are complete trash, like this one.
