It's really less about looking for hidden motivations, and more about the simple fact that the entire premise of the story makes it impossible for Anon to enter a genuine relationship right now. There's simply an immense power imbalance between Anon and everyone involved, and he's so traumatized that he's just not capable of a fair, well-balanced romantic relationship. Dude needs a lot of help, assuming that he could ever fully recover from this.
Like, the guy just barely escaped from a long-term abusive marriage and moved out with his daughter. And while Hana might've liked to see her dad hook up with someone new and try over, I'm pretty sure that Anon himself wasn't nearly ready for that. And that's before he got trapped in an even worse nightmare, where things just kept getting worse.
The charitable interpretation would be that Ran isn't aware herself of how much she's effectively taking advantage of Anon, and she genuinely thinks this is the best for Anon, but actually sexing him is definitely going too far. The dude is not in a place where he needs sex. Entirely the opposite, in fact. If Ran truly loved him and wanted what's best for him, she'd push her own feelings aside and focus entirely on helping Anon as a friend. My man needs to be supported and pulled up until he can finally stand on his own two feet again, not being pulled into a devious fox' eager womb, dragging him from one prison to another. Genuine love means making such sacrifices.

I basically think that any romantic ending to this story would be considered a BAD END. That's not to say that it wouldn't be a suitable end to this story, and I'd likely enjoy reading it, but it would really need to have undertones that show that it really isn't the best ending for Anon himself and that he'll never truly recover.
