Nope, its some random falls near Okutama, pretty much ignored by others than maybe a couple local hikers a day (like any other of the thousands of non-famous falls in Japan) it I think it's called Hyakuhirono falls or something.
Even in a quiet town like this with so little tourists, there was a couple of relatively known hiking routes around falls, closer to the town in top of that (Unazawa falls was one of them I think) so this one and all the other one I suppose there must be, remain virtually ignored.
I choose this one in particular instead bc you had to hike trough a forest of really tall japanese cedars and I liked the idea.
But, of course, once there things didn't go according to keikaku...

Next bus to the head of the trail arrived in like one hour, but of course, I could read shit in the timetable, so I didn't know.
But a couple of women like in their 50s, with worried faces, started looking at me sitting in the bus stop... one of them approached me and tried to tell me about the bus, pointing at the timetable.
So with the help of google translate and very expresive gestures, she made her point, I thanked her profusely, and told something like "well, what can I do? I'll have to wait!" (walking to the place was about +1 hour anyway)
But she didn't resign to it... as soon as one of those TINY Kei trucks passed by, she basically tackled it told the man (in his 30s) something, the man gestured me to hop in the cabin.
I thanked the woman again, hopped into the truck, showed the man the placed I wanted to go in Gmaps and said something I understood as a "no problem, bro".
The man didn't stop talking for the whole 20min trip, even tho first thing I said was "sorry, I cant speak japanese" In japanese, so I spent 20 minutes just nodding
Once in the head of the trail, I said gooobye and thanks to my friend, started hiking aaaaand inmediatly got lost as I noticed I wasn't approaching the fall at all (I only had the location of the fall itself, not the path to it)
Fortunately, the only soul I encontered in this whole time, was a man fishing in the river who spoke perfect english, and told me I was in the wrong path, I had to go back to a paved road, follow it for like 3kms, then take a mountain path in a curve in the road just before a bridge. Thank you man
In my way there I only passed by a group of like 15 elderly people on a a tour, each and every one of wich greeted me as I passed them, and two couples wich were returning from the place, when I arrived to the fall I was alone there for all the time I spent there.
Such an awesome day, man.
God, I miss when things didn't go according to keikaku in Japan

No sound bc 4chan doesn't allow it, but it was relaxing as fuck
