Rate my method

>wake up, do 15 new core2k + any reps in 20 mins max
>spend any other spare time consuming VNs, at least an hour a day often much more
>look up anything I don't understand, be it vocab or grammar or whatever

It's the last step I am uncertain on. Some suggest not looking up all the grammar and vocab and just try to understand the gist of what is being said from context looking up words sparingly.
What do you guys do?

>3 hours of "reading" VNs
>this involves copy/pasting virtually every word into a dictionary

This feels so dumb, the only words I have been able to recognize have been words I have covered in Core2k. In the last hour I was able to recognize "homework", though I can't recall it now which I guess is normal.

I really hope this "input input input" approach isn't a meme.
