That could work, providing that against all odds and current situation with crypto wouldn't discourage people to use it over there. Which is why a token system few layers deep like

2. Redeem it to get [whatever] *Coins*
3. Addationally you'd receive *Points* for reviewing art or from the artist themselves and depending on their ratings, follower count, even *page views*. Important would be for people to have feature where they could redeem them should they choose to lurk only but at a reasonable exchange ratio which would not be abused to simply yoink most expensive works from an artist.

The Coins that you either got with Tokens buying them on your own or have been granted some by the artists themselves.
The coin currency would need to work both ways, with the difference that the artists would be able to buy Tokens with their
coins, last and final step for the artists would be to exchange token for actual money.
