guys, I just realized scanlated manga is made up fanfiction

>mistake 霞 for 雷, giving it a completely wrong translation
>forgets the 流 part after hagakure

this is blowing my mind because reading scanlated manga is so much easier and getting specific japanese raws takes a little more effort, but if everything's made up and poorly translated, am I dven reading the manga?
